Default Funky remote ocking/unlocking

Hi guys.

Just picked up a 2000 RX and the remote locking/unlocking is doing strange thing.

If the whole thing is locked and I hit the unlock button, only the back doors and the hatch unlock. I have to use the key to unlock the front door.

Anyone have any ideas? Are the C-Best setting just jacked up?

thanks,
Sean

Try to unlock the hole car with the key. If all doors unlock, you probably got a problem with C-best. If only driver door unlock, you have a problem with the lock/unlock solenoid motor, on both front doors.
(I havn't got my car around for testing, but I think it will work that way..)
C-best have 2 alternativs: One door, on first push, all doors on second, or all doors on first push, as far as I recall. ;o)

I dont think what is happening is a Cbest option ... why would any one want back door to unlock with unlock-push-button?

I assume locking is fine via remote.

I suspect problem with the actuator/linkage.

Now that I've had some more time, I've isolated it to this:

The driver's side rear door and trunk locks are the only ones locking and unlocking via the remote. I hear some sort of noise coming from the rest of the doors, but they won't lock/unlock.

I'm going to check the linkages unless this weekend unless anyone has any other ideas.

Any thoughts out there?

If you could write a DIY (with photos would be very nice).

At lease one person decided to take it to the dealer after disasembling the side door. Give your self plenty of time and check with the dealer, if they have the actuators in stock.
