Default How To Get All Doors to Unlock at Once

When I unlock my car and press the unlock button on the remote, only the drivers side opens and the rest of the doors emailed locked. Either I have to press he unlock button on the remote again once or twice, or unlock the car for my passenger once I sit inside.

is there a way to make it so that one press or the button on locks all doors?

Yes, you can change the setting in the menu. You can pretty much personalize to how you like it

I changed my settings to unlock all doors however that only works when i unlock via door handle sensor.
My key fob still requires double-press to unlock all doors.

I figure I have to address with dealer as it may be a "dealer only" programmable option. Or did I miss something?

You can do it through the infotainment system. No need to go to the dealer. For instance, I have it set to unlock all the doors when I unlock the car by touching the door handle.

Yes mine too as I mentioned above.

But the question was how about the key fob? Can it be set to allow 1 push to unlock all doors.

Hm, yeah I guess those aren't the same setting.

Meh, I found the intelligent access way easier.

when i changed the setting my key fob only required one click and when i touch the door handle all the doors unlock. All that from the setting menu change. And yes the double click is standard and you change that using the navi system or can be changed by the dealer. There is a chart showing what can be changed, what is standard from factory and how it can be customized either by dealer or both dealer and you.

This is how to change the setting. Get in the car while its off. Hold the unlock and lock button for 5 seconds. You should see an image of an icon of the car with all 4 doors open. There will also be 3 chimes and you are done. From now on, when you use keyless entry, all of the doors will open. Enjoy.

Interesting. Why not use the infotainment system as mentioned above?

I wasn't aware of the infotainment system method. I think using the key to change the setting was a breeze. Whatever is easier really.

Does anybody have a link for a list of all the personalized settings that can be applied to a 2015 lexus is and how to do so? That would be something fun to browse through.

While sitting in the drive thru line, I found the setting. Just go to Setup, Vehicle, and then Door Lock Settings.
