Interesting message
I was just practicing some features like dynamic cruise control and lane departure warning. Took by surprise.
Did you, folks know what may trigger this message? Don't remember any mention of it in owners manual

This may be why you got the message. I checked the Owner's Manual and there is no mention of this screen, but it is there.

It appears to be time related.
If you bring up the information screen between the one in the instrument cluster not the nav screen,
The tire pressure screen will be 1st item
scroll down 1 and you'll see the "Time To Rest" right under the Sway Warning
The blue line will run down, turn yellow and then give you the Take a rest message.
It appears after about 2 1/5 hours
I am waiting on Lexus response and keep you all posted.

We just did 900 miles (15hrs with stops) in 2 days in our new '16.
We finished with 1111miles on the odo, what are the odds of that.
This is an extremely comfortable car to drive, we've had just about every incantation of the ES, '91 ES250, '94 ES 300 (still in use in FL with my mother), '02 ES300, '10 ES350 and now this '16.
They all have been great on the road, the '91 and '94 had the best road/sport feel. the '02 and '10 were comfortable but the road feel was sacrificed.
This '16, in "SPORT" mode, we got tired of eco and normal real fast, was a pleasure to drive. The feedback to the driver was great, the new Enform makes it easier to keep your eyes on the road when streaming I may actually subscribe after the free year. It is not the equivalent of my IS-F or Boxster, but for a "Boulevard Cruiser" this is a fantastic car.
