Default Tape

I recently bought an 2000 es300, I decided to stick with the original deck so i bought an tape-aux converter but everytime I put the tape in, after 20 seconds of playing my music, it ejects.. Anyone knows how to fix the tape? And in general any simple mods I can do?

Maybe the wheels in the adapter are not spinning freely enough. Check the resistance of the wheels by spinning them. If they are stuck you can try to loosen them up of get a new adapter. Perhaps cutting out the teeth of the stuck wheel will work if you can't get it to move freely.

No problem, let me know what happens, I run the same setup because I haven't gotten. Around to trying so solder in an ax adapter. Not the best, but it works for now.

How about something like this?

Or this? A $1 cable and some soldering.
