i tried to use an ipod via tape connector in my Nakamichi equipped SC3, it'll play for a bit but then it keeps spitting out the tape! Has anyone had this problem w/ an adapter of this type? any kind of fix?

 

My RX300 has a Nakamichi system and occasionally it spits out my XM tape connector. Eventually had to get a new one and spray some electrical contacts cleaner inside the tape deck as it had accumulated some gunk. Would also do exactly what you are describing where it would play for a little then shoot it out.
