Hi crew

I have the stock pioneer radio

I am trying to use an ipod adapter.
It keeps spitting out the tape, it will play for a little and then the up arrow and down arrows come on it tries to find its place and then spits it out.

It plays regular tapes

Any way to repair or clean the tape portion? Wouldnt think it would be broken...

Any ideas?

 

go to Radio Shack, they sell a tape deck head cleaner with the solution. I had one back in the day, and it worked great.

Looks like a regular cassette tape, but its clear and you can see the gears and the cleaning pad..

Its weird that it plays regular tapes no problem, maybe this ipod thing is faulty Im going to try that first.
