you guys were right...no HID's but the halogens seem plenty bright, I love it....total was 22K with added NYS taxes (24K) plus another 4 for financing...in total paid around 28K and gave them 8K down($330 mo.) Its the best car I've ever owned hands down...thanks for the input everyone.

Yep, my wife has halogens and I have HIDs. I haven't pointed that out to her But, she has yet to notice the difference. She constantly reminds me of my rear view camera, however

The "Additional options" were:
- Rear Seat Airbags
- Bluetooth Audio
- Full Size Spare
- HID's
- Power Rear Sunshade
- Wood and Leather Steering Wheel
- Preferred Accessory Package

Most of the Premium Plus package cars on my local dealers lot included all of these Additional options.

When I type in my zip code to Build Your Own, HID's aren't available as part of the Additional Options package. I typed in a S.E. US zip code, and they are included in the package in that region. They must regionalize the Additional Options package. I have them on my car, but it was purchased in '06, so they must have changed things up a bit since then.

Our Lexus is a 2008. I just went to the US Lexus Web site and did a build of a 2009 ES350 using my Zip code (27614) and the HID option is there under the second Premium Plus Package.

I guess it must be regional.

well I'm happy to say I think I do have HID's now....first night out when it was fully dark...they have that super bright white coloring and the tend to flash off when I turn the switch...same as my girlfriends 2009 Murano. The road looks extra bright while driving...very cool. If it's related to any specific region...the car was purchased new in Massapequa(LI) New York
