I'm not sure if i have HID's or not. My dad bought the car, but i don't know the features or package he got. The headlights seem yellowish. how do i find out if its comes with HID or not? Is there a ballast that i can tell it's a HID??

Well i guess you havent been driving very long cuz you can tell just by looking at the brightness, usally. If you dont know thou, yea it could be tough. If you know what halogens look like, its way brighter.

I got the car a few months ago..its kinda yellow and kinda white..i don't know. i want to change them to a 10k HID =D

If you have HID fogs and HID DRL... It should be obvious that you know what HID looks like...

If i did i wouldn't be posting a new thread! Plus, people say they are yellow at first, then it starts getting brighter.

Do the headhights move up and down when you turn them on? If so you have HID.

I'm pretty sure you have HIDs because my salesperson said it's standard in 07s. But to check and be sure, have the car face towards a garage door and turn it on, you should see the light slowly get brighter. If so, then it's HIDs and if not, then it's halogens. Oh, and when you turn it off and it shuts off immediately, then it's HID.

If you have HIDs, then you have AFS, which means that the button to the left of the steering wheel (where you can customize the red rings for the speedo) will also have an option to turn off the AFS.

It's easy, if the light is intensely white and if it has multiple color effect when viewed against a wall (especially when you turn it on) then it's hids, otherwise it's not. Also, a dead giveaway is if there are waterjets on the bumber bar.

Unless you put in yellowry hid bulbs, stock hids are intensely white.

WAIT WAIT WAIT.... Simple way to find out.... DO THEY BUZZ when your low beams are on???? HIDs buzz pretty loud. Try it in the garage. Youll hear it very clearly.

^ yeah that's probably the best way to tell since people don't trust their eyes. turn on the headlights and put your ear against the headlight. you'll hear a buzzing noise coming from it if you have hids.
