Default H.I.D. 12000k Question

hey guys. My girl is looking to get HID's and like most girls she into girly colors. She's in love with the Purple H.I.D.'s. I'm just worried about the attention shes gunna get from the cops. Anyone have experience with 12000k purple HID's and if it attracted the police or get a ticket etc.
Thanks for the help guys

12000k has many disadvantages:
1) Extremely low light output
2) Will definitely have a lot of glare
3) Has a much higher chance of being pulled over

The only advantage is it'll give the car a look of a 'ricer' per say.

that kolor is not going to shine the road as much as 8000k, and for sure your setting yourself up to get noticed by the cops.

I'm sure you meant to say 4100k...

perhaps, but his statement is still true. 8000k has much better output compared to 12000k, but not nearly as much as a 41/4300k

I had the 12000k bulbs in for a couple of weeks until a cop pulled me over saying they were illegal

Out here in AZ purple or pink will get you pulled over, it's just a matter of time. Also, are you sure you want 12k? Here's a shot of 12k on top and pink in the fogs...

Also, I personally wouldn't want someone I care about driving around with pink or purple lights - it's just WAAAAAAAAAY too obvious and you're just asking to get pulled over... If anything - strictly for shows...

I actually like the way these lights look but I wouldn't put them in my car unless it was a show car for a few reasons. 1) Probably won't light up the road much. 2) The cops. 3) More importantly, I might get jumped for driving around with pink lights.
