Question HID Texas law projector question

This may be a stupid question and I did google and use the search feature. I learned a TON of new information and for that I am so grateful. I was about to pull the trigger on an HID conversion kit (35watt 6000k) but then i thought about our local state laws. After I looked them up it seems that I cannot have HID headlights unless they are in a proper projector housing. My question is do I already have this housing? Or do I need to purchase aftermarket ones?

Thanks to everyone for there help

After a couple more hours of pouring through threads and searching I found my own answer so yes we do have stock projectors.

My advice, go with the 5k as you'll have a brighter white output. You'll appreciate it on a dark rainy night.

This or the 4500k's.
Past 5000k it gets stressful on the eyes at night, especially when it's rainy like Tabaka mentioned.

you wont be pulled over in texas unless you have blue or purple lights. stick to 4300k-5000k and you will be fine.

Thank you, I may just end up selling the 6000k and ordering the 5000k unless they don't look too blue. My sister also has a Lexus but it is an SUV she has the same HID headlights but hers are stock I believe (she purchased the car used) and hasn't had any problems but you never know. Small town = bored cops.
