emblems take off?

emblems take off?

Has anyone try to exchange or take off the hood and trunk emblems on es300? are there holes punctuated in the back of the emblems? if so, how to shave it even?? thx

Yes there are holes. If I can remember, there are 4 holes.

what did you do to get rid of them? repaint the whole thing?

good news is its ez to take off, bad news is the glue stuck above the paint is a pain to deal with. i've tried 3Ms adhensive remover, but the glue seems to be too old and stuck.. anybody know anything that can take off the glue yet not damage the paint??

the only hole i can remmber is.. if u take of the L sign but "lexus" and "es300" no hole.. and i ddnt have a hard time/problem taking the glue out either... o yea i have a 2001 es300 so my "es300" emblem is on my rear lights! hope it helps!
