Removing emblems

I want to take the three emblems off the trunk. Does any one know if they are held on with double sided tape only or if there are holes behind them. I like the clean look but I don't want to have to patch holes. Thanks for any info.

No, its adhesive. I believe in some earlier posts that to take off emblems you need
1) Have a hair dryer (preferable hot air) and blow across the emblems to make it easier to take off. Don't hold the hot air in one place or discoloration may occur on the paint.
2) Have some dental floss and try to go in between the emblems and surface.
3) Buy some Goo Gone and I believe that is all.

No holes. Dealers can be so full of **** sometimes.
Why don't they just say they don't know (any dealers reading this...please take the friggin' hint already).
Someone on the site suggested a 3M adhesive remover rather than goo gone since it's made for auto paint...instructions are here -
