Does any one know if you can put the duel piston calipers from a 96 es300 on a 92 without changing spindals???
And do you have to change the master cylinder if it does work???

No ES has dual piston calipers to date. The ES350 may have a shot at being the first tho weighing 3600lbs.
92-96

97-01

Either save for the Brembo kit, or swap from another vehicle.
IMHO:
90-92 LS400 brakes have the biggest chance of fitting.
Outside of that, you might could make some of the dual piston 4runner/T100 brakes fit... The older, the smaller.
Keep in mind... You will need larger wheels of unspecified inner diameter & offset when upsizing calipers, or rotors.
All of that being said, most people mis-read the *need* stronger brakes. You *need* in order:
1) More traction!!! - All of the stock brake/pads/rotors will lock stock size tires at like 65-70mph if you stand on them *Traction* is the limiting braking factor
2) Flush out the old fluid & replace it with good fluid. Dot4, 4+, or 5.1. The fluid boils before "sporty" brake pads begin to overheat.
3) Better brake pads. Hawk HPS. Nothing will beat them. I like track... Great daily-driving brake pad too. Long life, no real extra dust, gental when cold.
4) Heavier rotors. Brembo Blanks. Drilled is dumb, slots work, but not for a car that doesn't have all out track pads & is on an all out road racing track

THAT IS INCORRECT I HAVE HAD AND 1996 ES300 WITH DUEL PISTON FRONT CALIPER ON IT IN MY SHOP. IF YOU GO TO WWW.VMRINTL.COM AND CLICK ON CAR REVIEWS THEY WELL TELL YOU IN 95 THEY UP GRADED TO DUELS. ALSO THEY SAY ON THIS SITE THAT 1994 AND OLDER YOU NEED TO RUN PREMEUM FUEL IS THIS TRUE???

not sure what your response is regarding besides maybe octane. but run your car on 85-87 and then on 93...tell me what you notice..i run mine on 93...91 if i have to. it runs smoother, stronger, and accellerates better here at high altitude. but i also have 160k+ miles

i always thought my car had a bit of a miss at idle till started running 91 and it seems to have smoothed it out if you read that web site it says the older es's need the higher octane fuel
most engines will run better on higher octane, it burns better right?
I usually buy the middle grade. It depends on the gas price to me as gas prices drop I will put higher octane. Who carries 93 octane? I've yet found a pump that is higher than 91, but I always go to sunoco if I am in town.
