New Struts
I replaced front and rear struts on my 96 es at 125000. Sway bar bushings too. Also had everything lined up and ballanced. Other than getting rid of the rattles from the sway bar bushings nothing seemed too different.
But after a 1000 miles I realize just how nice the car rides and handles. Corners flat, steering is solid and precise. Breaks are very powerful, smooth, and predictable. Now if it just had 100 more HP
I will keep this one till I die, and will maintain it as a family daily driver. Still have some rehab work to do: replace headlights with xenons, fix weak window motor in rt front door, redo sound system. Oh... the door/window air seals need replaced too
I'd like to get a head unit with a PC screen that I could run the sounds and a GPS with. Is there such a thing?
I paid $12,000 cash for the car 3 years ago. I budget a hundred per month for upkeep. That ain't much money (am from the South) for a nice ride like this.
