We have a 2014 Lexus ES300h with 176k. Wondering if the expected battery life is still the "about 10 years" we were quoted when we purchased in 2017. Is there a way to test the remaining life in the battery and maybe it's time to trade in or private sale to avoid the battery dying on us at some point? Thanks!
Also, does Lexus Corp have any kind of membership where they offer free or discounted merch for Lexus owners who have really old vehicles? i.e., we have a 2002 SC430 we love, with 139k

Reason: Second question
Not necessarily the wrong question about the battery. As the battery becomes less effective the MPG results can be reduced. Hybrids get better mileage because the battery is helping, right?
Electrics on a hybrid fill in the power and torque gaps caused by the Atkinson cycle engine. There is no set lifespan of the hybrid battery pack and in general they are very reliable.
Chances are your battery will report its internally-assessed SoH and other battery-related metrics via the OBDII port. Check into a Bluetooth LE dongle and an app like Car Scanner that probably has a profile for your car. There's an enormous amount of data available via the OBD port that you can't get via the car's own UI.
Prius has head gasket problems on certain years the hybrid system itself doesn't typically have any issues. Some people have complained about oil burning on the 2AR-FXE (your engine) and piston skirt wear if it was me I'd run a high quality synthetic oil and change it every 4,000-5,000 miles.
