Outer Light Bulbs - Locations, etc...
I have a tail light out. It would appear it's the outer tail light, type 7443.
Apparently there's a bulb for a "rear side marker, type 168"? What position is the rear side marker? There's a reverse light, brake light, turn signal, inner and outer tail light, and a brake light, but what's the rear side marker? When I try to look it up I keep seeing photos of the clear lens on the front sides of the car next to the headlight lens.
One more question. What's the "parking light" which requires an amber bulb, type 1157NA"? Isn't this the one that goes in the front side clear lens?
It would be nice if there was a diagram that shows the location/description of each bulb location.
I could just pull out each bulb to see what's installed but I would rather buy the right bulb ahead of time then swap them out. Also I believe there's a bulb mismatch somewhere causing the dash light out indicator to come on so I'd prefer to know what the correct bulb is rather than trying to match what's currently installed just incase it's incorrect, if that's even possible.

Here is a Parts Catalogue for your car that shows the location of all the Light Bulbs and their Part Numbers.
The Outer Taillight, the one attached to the Frame, has 3 bulbs - Turn Signal, Marker Light / Stop Signal (it has two Filaments on the inside), and a small Corner Light on the very edge, it shines sideways essentially. Catalogue Page
The Inner Taillight, the one attached to the Trunk Lid, has 2 bulbs - Marker Light and Reverse Light. Catalogue Page
The High Mount Stop Light in the Interior has 1 bulb - Stop Light. Catalogue Page
The Corner Light in the Front has 1 bulb - Corner Light / Turn Signal (it has two Filaments on the inside). Catalogue Page
The Headlight has 2 bulbs - Main Headlight and High Beam / DRL (dimmed down as DRL and full brightness as High Beam). Catalogue Page
The Fog Light in the front has 1 bulb - Fog Light. Catalogue Page
Those are about all the Lights I can think of in that car, at least on the outside, aside from stuff like license plate lights.
The Light Failure Sensor in those cars measures the Current Draw through the bulbs to see if it is burnt out, so if your bulbs were never replaced, or you are running LEDs in rear lights, there is a good chance it will come up. The only way to combat it is to either take the bulb out of the cluster or replace all the bulbs with New OEM stuff, but even then there is a chance it will be coming up once in a while, especially when the engine is off, it is a little too sensitive frankly.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
