Default Power Steering Pump Whining

Hello All,
Recently my Power Steering pump in my 94 E300 started whining consistently. Before you say it there is more then plenty of fluid and it looks clean.

I am assuming my Pump is gone with the wind? How much of a pain in the butt is this to replace?

Might be a good idea to take the cap off the pump and watch the fluid while the pump is under load. If you see alot of bubbling then the problem is the pump is cavitating which could be a pinhole somewhere in one of the lines.

It's common on these cars power steering always leaks. It' whining cuz it's low on fluid or the pump itself is defective.

so finally had a chance to bleed the system did that and still nothing so i decided to have a look while a did the oil change and the power steering pump was soaked with ps steering fluid so i am searing for a new pump and possibly a few of the hoses to wanna take one step at a time.
