Default so I think I'm going to need a power steering pump soon.

When I start it in the morning I can bear the pump whining, sounds kinda like a ford pump.

So I've been looking on eBay for a oem used pump that I can rebuild. But I don't see much.

Any recommendations for a rebuilt one?

Car is a 2000.

I put a reman on from O'Reillys and have not had any trouble on my 1998...that was about 2k miles ago.
I'd look close and make sure the pump is not leaking onto the alternator or you'll be replacing both of those items. Make sure you use ATF in the power steering pump as that is what it calls for... not power steering fluid...just a friendly reminder.

Yes, the previous owner put power steering fluid, I had to flush it when I got it.

When I bought my 95 a few years back, it had a faulty pump and i replaced it with a rebuilt one at NAPA. Pump worked great with no leaks for the few years i had it, up till I traded it in on my LS430.

Also, i had to put a rebuilt pump from Orielys in my 4Runner back in 2006. Been holding up great ever since. I think that P/S pumps are one of the few things that actually are rebuilt properly at local autoparts stores

I just got one from Autozone. Havent driven it much yet, though. I'm currently working through the car's other issues.
Another thing, in case you didn't know...the remans don't come with ACVs. You'll need to keep your old one or bypass it. Replacement ACVs are $108 at Advance Auto.
