Default USB cover removal?

I recently threw some change into my usb housing (see picture) when I was parked in the city so a it would be hidden from visibility... long story short, a dime managed to fall in the crack when I was driving and now it will only open 75%.

Does anyone know how to remove this cover? I don't want to break it by accident trying to remove it.

Thanks!

Seems like you'll have to lift up the cup holder/usb compartment to take the coin out. I am guessing you'll have to follow a few steps from this page http://www.ct200hforum.com/forum/lex...l-armrest.html.

Although meant for a different project, you should be able to reach your coin by following the steps up to lifting the cup holder compartment. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, just take it to the dealer. However, that will make this an expensive dime.

Thanks!
That tutorial will help allot. I have been wanting to ad a sub-woofer and a backup camera in the future anyway so this will give me a good look at what I'm dealing with under the console.

I'm not taking it to the dealer, that's for sure! I got a rock in my caliper and had no idea what the sound was... I ended up having to pay almost $200 to tow it to the dealer and get them to have a look. I have since kept the rock, because I figure it cost me $200. haha

I read this on the manual. They have instructions on how to take the cover off just in case something gets stuck in there. Just check your manual

I would say extremely easy. Now that I know how to do it, I could pull over and do it in a minute!
