What do you want to do...Plug n Play or a HID retrofit?

plug n play seems the easiest. i'm not very knowledgable about cars (a downside to having a lexus previous to this one...even a 15 yr old es250 gave me no problems, sadly it was wrecked)...so something that i can understand, possible reverse if necessary would be good.

With P'n'P...you get less of a clean cutoff line and lots of glare...(with the SC models anyway)
with a retrofit, you get the proper lines and virtually no glare...

Check out the IS and Lighting forums...search around there, see what others have done...

Where are you located? There are plenty of shops around here that I'm sure would do it for you....

Retrofit will be a lot of money if you are looking to get it done by a shop.

If you want something cheap and quick, plug and play will be your answer. And the installation is straight forward enough for a DIY noob. It should take you about an hour.

Hello,

Many peopel on this board have our Xtreme HID conversion kit installed.

As per your questions:

1) Your vehicle uses an h11 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order an h11 HID conversion kit.

2) The kit will be plug+play and will not require you to modify your vehicle in any way.

3) The IS is a perfect candiate for an HID conversion kit as your vehicle has OEM projector headlights. WHen installed, our product will literally replicate your OEM beam pattern and provide you with a nice sharp cut off.

4) This link will show you some nice before/after pics as well as a detailed installation write up:

Regards,

Steve

Shoot me a PM if you still want the HIDs done, except a retrofit would a be somewhat costly.
