Quote: i think it will be a middle ground... some buttons, mostly screens. my ioniq 5 is pretty perfect in this regard although i really don't like touch screens in cars.
Rolls Royce is probably the only manufacturer who is resisting the need for the driver to use a touch screen.

I also think my S Class is a good compromise between buttons and screens.

Most of what they doing are good design choices. But the starry sky is getting a bit tacky now.

Funny part is - not buttons, nope. They are not coming back.

They are specifically talking about stalks for turn signals and wipers, then horn in the center.

Nothing else. Not telling about your AC controls.

I don’t care if the center stack looks like a 2009 Acura TL. I will always prefer physical buttons to this minimalist Tesla BS. I think my GS has the perfect mix of buttons and screen.

Lol, about 15 years ago, it was pretty popular around here to put down Acura's for all of the buttons on its center stack. I agree on the GS, assuming you have the last gen of it. I really like that interior and also the interior of the LS460 of the same vintage.

However, there can be too many buttons well. Like the Porsche centre console of the last generations.

If Tesla could, they would have no buttons or a screen. It would be all voice and gesture.

That's nothing. Remember the Oldsmobile dashboards from the late 80s and early 90s?

Yeah I agree, it's a skill issue. The only time I've spilled anything was when I was rear ended when stopped by someone going 60....
