My neighbor just got a new Hyundai Ioniq 5, just walked back over from checking it out. It’s pretty cool. Very premium feeling inside and out, nice ambient lighting inside. Ambient lighting just does so much for a car.

From what I remember, they had almost a cult like following.

So we really need to figure out a replacement for the Pacifica, I've been looking around...Kia is still stubbornly posting markups online, they really seem to be the only one. Carnival minivans $2-5k over MSRP, Tellurides same deal. Yeah, not gonna happen.

Issue with the GC aside from that is finding an Overland with the tech package that gives us the lane centering. There’s one in Bethesda but it’s white which she doesn’t like

I guess I'm lucky because I could come home with anything (within reason..a new Ferrari, no lol) and there'd never be a problem, ever. Spouse wasn't a car person until we got LX and SL, well and being married to me for almost 10 years. Didn't give a hoot about them. Had a wrecked Jeep Compass that was grinding when we met lol.

 

She wouldn't care either, her issue is she is convinced that having doors will make transporting the kids much more stressful.

 

Ah I thought she was on board as well. It's wild you can't find a Carnival at MSRP yet, but I guess if you don't want to go out of state that makes things more difficult. Any dealers on your way to family in WV that might want to deal? Nothing like an impromptu visit to see the relatives with a small stop along the way.
