Got a newish Corolla for a loaner while I get my LX bumper repaired. I must say, for someone who just wants high quality, cheap transportation it delivers in spades. It's slow but not as slow as I thought it would be. I'm irritated because they were behind and the two people who walked in AFTER me got Expeditions, they just got lucky bc Enterprise is always behind. I really wanted to see what the Ecoboost is all about but I got stuck with this tin can.
I hate it but it's really not bad at all. For someone who doesn't give a crap about cars and just wants something cheap, good, and reliable to get around this is a great little car.
it is hilarious how classes of vehicle don't matter at Enterprise lol. When my LS460L was in for the rear trunk repair I got that Jaguar F Pace when my insurance only paid $38 a day lol, its all they had...
If you are gonna have it a while I would take it back and ask for something else. I did that once when I got that Misubishi Eclipse Cross which was so awful.

I'm not upset or anything but both of these guys drove teeny cars, one a Focus one something else. They get brand new Expeditions when I'm the one who drives an SUV lol. I realllllly wanted to check out a new Expedition.
And I had an appointment and was there before them, even!!!! They really might give me something better if I go back?

They will if they have something better.
Yeah its always like "We can give you a Chevy Spark, a crew cab F250 or a Dodge Charger" lol
Does anyone have any knowledge of the RAV4 plug-in hybrid? My daughter is in the market for a new SUV and she has a short in town commute and figures she could use the battery only mode for her commute as it’s supposed to be good for just over 40 miles. She would have a charging unit installed at home so recharging overnight would be a convenience. For longer trips she’d drive it as anyone would as a regular hybrid. Any comments?

My most frequently-visited airport is a small one, so Enterprise NEVER has the intermediate class that I book through work. The last time I was there the guy sized me up and says "I'm guessing you don't want a Spark." I responded "Only if you take the front seats out." He laughed and gave me a 4Runner.
Aside from the 4Runner, my Intermediate rental has been:
CX-5
Malibu
Impala
Tacoma
Telluride
F150
and a Grabber Blue Mustang Convertible.
Only one time have I gotten a Corolla, and I think that was 3 or 4 years ago. I'll be there again on Sunday, and I'm guessing I'll be in some sort of midsize SUV.
I've never been offered a Toyota. I thought you would have to rent from a dealership. How is the 4Runner? I know two families and they both have two of them.

This isn't a Lexus loaner, it's an Enterprise rental.

It was fine. Steering was extremely vague, but overall it drove well enough. Dramatically more comfortable and easier to get in/out of than the Tacoma, which surprised me--I expected them to be more similar. There was something really weird about how Android Auto worked, but I don't remember what it was anymore.
So the truck has been in the shop for body work so I've been driving the LS. It's still stunning the quality and engineering that went into these. I took this yesterday. Nearly a 20 year old car and the power wheel still works 100% perfectly. It's still completely silent. How many freakin' times has this thing come in and out in 18 years????? 18 years....
