No, the GSF is far better around a track. The LC lacks cooling and body control and driver feedback at the limit since it's more of a GT car and you can feel this if you get really aggressive with them in the street.
i can attest the LC is very entertaining on the street. few every drive any lexus on a track.
and the lc being smaller and lower makes cornering pretty wonderful. i took mine out today... had a blast.
the gs-f is no doubt very capable but in the end it's still a big sports sedan

As you already know, the LC handles really well for a car it's size when coupled with rear wheel steering. Due to it's weight it does reach the limits pretty fast, but it's not a track car so that's not even an issue. It's only a handful of ICE vehicles I would actively buy from the used market, or keep if I already owned it. So if you know, ever get tired of it, I have an IS350 I can trade you with. Thought I would just throw that out there and see if it sticks

Forget it, he's gonna take our Honda Odyssey for it. The massive amount of cargo space makes it much more practical than the LC
I have never been that impressed by the GSF - would take the LC500 each and every time. The key is to get one with Performance package that has rear wheel steering. The 10speed trans is also significantly better than 8speed in GSF. Everything just feels way more special and it is.
LC is superb as a backroads car that you can push to the limits on the street. The downshifts are addictive!

there's a lot more to vehicle dynamics than weight. drive both and let me know.
I would bet the GSF drives better on a track than the LC. However, the LC is a much more attractive vehicle, its special, and I don't drive on a track...the GS-F just looks like another GS sedan to people who don't realize what it is

Yeah...doesn't turn heads at all. The LC500 still turns my head every time. That's a car I would love to go cross country in.
i was on the highway the other day and a blue LC convertible with blue cloth roof (and attractive driver didn't hurt ) was in the other lane. i almost hurt my neck looking over a few times to look at it. drop. dead. gorgeous. in comparison, this is nice, but not wow.
Yeah, there's no comparison between the LC and GS-F in terms of looks. GS-F is a nice sleeper sedan. Guess you could say that about any other high performance sedan though. The LC is definitely the best looking car in its class. For example, the 8 Series just looks boring/generic in comparison.
