GSF does not drive better at all.
It does have better brakes and better cooling but everything else is better on the LC.

LC is on a newer platform, it sits a lot lower than GS therefore the center of gravity is lower so the increased weight is not much of an issue.

Drive these back to back and see for yourself.

Yep, it annoyed me since I wanted the LC to just be better in every way possible.

to be annoyed driving an LC means you're doing it wrong.

I've yet to see a single review praise the LC500's track prowess. The recent refresh made it much softer too.

It's a fine GT car, but nobody is taking it to the track like the GS-F.

newsflash, it isn't and wasn't designed to be a track car. it's a GT (grand tourer).

The issue is, when you make a car better on a track, you make it worse on the street. Since I drive cars on the street, I would rather they not be so great at the track if they are better on the street.

everything has trade offs, why would a GSF vs LC500 be any different. Impossible standards always end in disappointment

Neither a GSF or a LC500 are meant to be tracked.
They both aren’t great at it - very few cars out of the factory can be taken to the track and perform well.

I would never want to track 4,000lb+ luxury car.

LC500 was developed as a GT car that is fun for the street and backroads. It is much better at that then a GSF which doesn’t have the same chassis sophistication, rear wheel steering, updated 10speed, lower center of gravity etc.
Again just drive these back to back yourself.

"transmission heat warning" lol! I jest but I did trigger it once, it's an amazing car but didn't fit what I wanted for the price. If it had 200 more hp and no cooling issues it would be the perfect road car IMO.

I still don't understand why they didn't include the TVD and cooling from the F-cars on it and why they canceled the TTV8

Backroads are the street, plus it's a 2+2.....I'll just drive another car if I want something softer and that's why I'm so sad the LCF is not a thing. It already has a perfect interior, quality, looks etc but it's a bit too much show without being able to back it up.

GSF does better for me on backroads. Plus it has way more support if you want to really track it.

Both lost to Audi but the F would beat it on track but I have given up at this point on a dual role car and will just get a track only toy.

have you looked under the hood or under the car? not a lot of room for those kind of additions!

we have no idea (or at least i don't) whether there really was a TTV8 program for the LC, i doubt it. as i recall it was just rumors of vague spy shots.

ok, you've made your point (multiple times) that the LC that's actually sold, is not for you.
