He likes the CT, he just doesn't want any subsidies if he decides to buy
I just think it looks awesome. How can someone say it's not cool? Just take it for what it is and don't take it too seriously (not directed at you, in general) and enjoy it.
If I had zillions of dollars I'd absolutely have one of these, I'd just throw money at them to get further up the list to get one.
The stainless steel construction is awesome.
It is large in person MUCH larger than a Rav 4, whoever said that.
I honestly don't think I'd take that tax break if I bought one, truly.

Very cool you got to see one in person, I am yet to see one and I have 2 showrooms within 10 miles of me and live in an area where I would've thought they'd have one by now.

I don’t understand how where I was isn’t a Tesla dealer like someone said.
Dozens and dozens of cars on the lot for sale, the showroom was like any other dealer showroom.
They all looked the same. For the most part. It doesn’t look like any of those are special ordered.
I Think you are not understanding. Non of these are special orders. They are just orders. Tesla doesn't do special orders. The cars you are seeing are customer orders that were delivered and are either waiting for customer pickup, or they will delivered to customers. They are already paid for by the customer
Aren't all Tesla's ordered unless you buy a used one that someone's traded in at a dealership(which would be anywhere but Tesla since they don't have dealerships)?

There's really not much variation to Teslas. There's only about 5 colors they come in. You go on the website and order your car, choose one of the few colors, what hub caps/wheels you want, and what level of autopilot you want.

Some of the larger centers may have inventory units when they do their quarter end pushes.
It might be semantics, but dealer means that someone could go into the Tesla showroom, talk to a salesperson and leave that day with a new Tesla. The showroom that you visited can walk you through the car, let you go on a test drive, etc. BUT they cannot sell you the car. You would still have to go through the website to place the order, confirm financing, etc.

Understatement of the year . White, Grey, Black, Blue or Red. White or Black Interior. 19" or 20" tires, FSD or Autopilot or both. Oh yeah, Cash, Finance, or Lease. BTW, Tesla will happily trade your used Model 3 or Y, not sure what they do with them.
If you want accessories, you order them separately here and Tesla service will install them if applicable:
