but i can say with certainty i will never own a cybertruck, but respect it's uniqueness, industry buzz, and some of its features.
i do think the lightning is a 'good start' and came become much stronger competition over time.
I drove @swajames Lightning, and that thing is amazing. Ford got everything pretty much right. You would almost not know it's a Lightning except for the front grill and the fact it says "Lightning" on it. I know for sure the Cyber Truck will probably drive much better, but the Cyber Truck's appearance is a hard no for me. I could find an excuse to buy a Lightning, CT not so much. Eventually I'll drive one when someone I know gets one or they become available for test drives
I haven't watched this video yet, but sometimes this guy sounds like a retard...
I can't speak to that until I actually am able to get my hands on a CT, but if it even remotely drives as good as a Lightning, it's still a win. In driving. Not looks
Yes. If the Lightning rides and feels anything like the regular F-150s.
I still miss the F-150 I rented in California, it wasn't a Lightning but a King Ranch 3.5EB with 3500 miles on it.. The ride was almost like a luxury car.

Because it has independent rear suspension, it rides better than a standard F-150. But the most amazing thing is it's smooth as glass drivetrain and instant torque. The only other ice F-150 I've driven is the 5.0L, I've never driven the 3.5L Ecoboost. The 5.0L of course was amazing

What I loved about that F150 is it was huge, inside was huge and the bed was a good size. The suspension rebound on it was luxury car-like. EASILY a vehicle I'd be happy to drive NY to LA. Ecoboost I wouldn't choose for my use but it was a blast. It's just a "grab and hold on" type of fun.

I'm probably one of the few that finds him entertaining and occasionally funny. Regardless, I am very interested to drive the CT because I'm fascinated by the drive-by-wire concept. When he's driving, the camera view makes the steering wheel look really small. Wonder if it is in fact that size proportionally or if the image is slightly distorted due to how it's being filmed (could be a fish eye type lens).
Yep that’s Los Angeles for ya! Never a dull moment with the automobiles. We’d sit at outdoor patios off Sunset for hours just car watching.
That’s also when every high end AMG was using the 6.2 which sounded orgasmic lol. I still remember that bark.
Nope, never a dull moment in LA. When I was recently married, my new wife and some friends were at a Denny's off of Sunset Blvd at 2am after a late movie at Universal City walk. My wife is staring out the window saying "Oh my God" and asked me why women were walking up and down the street wearing almost nothing. Moving here from North Carolina, she had never seen a Street Walker and had no idea why they were walking up and down Sunset Blvd in thongs...at 2am 🤣

As you can tell, she didn't get out much
Oh the homeless situation was awful there, in 2014-2015 and it's gotten so much worse... When we lived there no matter what I'd encounter homeless. Anywhere. By our apartment at the bottom of the Hollywood Hills. In smack dab of Beverly Hills. In Santa Monica (bad). Just everywhere.
We spent 6 months vetting areas and apartments and landed in a great spot. Now??? Ever since 2020 I've heard that people are getting car jacked around the area we lived from our neighbor friends we kept in touch with... and the cops don't even come at all.
SF/Bay Area is sooooo much better, but SF is even worse of a disaster. But this is OT.
Agree, but just for the record I know and I've always known a street walker is a hooker lol. I just pivoted to homeless because that's all I ever saw, never any hookers in LA. Vegas is a different story lol. Don't ever wear anything designer through Vegas because that's your "mark". I know the Gucci hat is what did it at the Mandalay Bay one of the times.
Sorry for the OT.
I'm sure CTs are all over LA by now? No?
