Shame i can only get 7 seats with the ptemium package. I would get base with 7 seats and 18in wheels. 12k more to get 2 extra seats and some stuff i dont need seems stiff.
The most expensive LS with the Kiriko glass is only $25K more than the base price, not $25K more than the Luxury trim.
Thats not correct. The base LS500 is $80,800. The UL package with the glass trim is $23,300. An LS optioned with the luxury package is $100,175...~ $19,500 more than base. An LS with the UL package glass trim and smart safety plus is $114,275, $14,100 more than the luxury model and $34,000 more than the base car. Remember options are packaged together, you cant just buy the UL package.
Note whats posted above says only 1% of vehicles built will be the UL, so it makes no sense to judge the pricing based on the price of that model.
AHC needs to be standard across the board, IDK WTF they're thinking there.
‘It because you just get less for more now. I think 4 zone which you have is no longer standard either. Same with heads up display. Heated steering wheel as well. The biggest slap in the face is that some paint choices are extra cost….not so with your version

I could write a 20 page paper on why AHC is so amazing. It helps provide the silky Lexus ride, controls dive and squat, and AHC is supposed to be a pleasure to tow half capacity or so with.
Back seat in any 200LX is quite a nice place to be, I’ve only been back there once for an hourish but just as nice as up front comfort wise. So it will be cool to see this UL one with the real deal back there.
I've had two LX's in the past 12 years. A 2010 that I loved and put 160,000 trouble free miles on it and a 2017 LX which I still own. As an executive I was considering upgrading to the Ultra Luxury version. But I find it un-usable since you cannot fold or remove the middle seats if and when I'll need to carry something large which is inevitable. Kind of disappointing. I was told the middle seats with all their fancy features needed to remain stationary. I sat in the F-Sport version at the L.A. Auto Show and was very disappointed. It just didn't feel as if it had the same level of luxury as my 2017 LX. (It felt kind of cheap to be frank) Thus, for me, i'd be looking at the Luxury version with the added AHC (Which is a must). Another disappointment is how the middle row seats fold forward against the front seats when I need to carry large items. In my current LX, you need to fold the middle seats against the front ones and then strap them tight against the front seat's backrests. If they are not secured very tightly, the swing back and forth and keep on pushing on your backrest every time you brake. This is a $100K luxury SUV, one would think they would find a better way to secure the middle seats when folded. Sadly the new LX keeps that same setup. I'm also not a fan of 22" rims. Maybe this time they calibrated the suspension properly to accommodate such low profile tires. I swapped my 21" rims on my current LX-570 to the 18" Landcruiser rims since the 21" rims caused the ride to be rough. The car offers a much smoother ride with the 18" rims (as expected) without sacrificing any meaningful handling. I will reserve my final judgements once I get to actually drive the new LX - But so far, to be honest, i'm not impressed.
Why did they make the 18” wheel design so cheap looking. Looks like a $200 aftermarket wheel.
If it was chrome or painted I would like it the best on that car for functional reasons, overall I like the look of the silver 22s best due to lack of any 5/split5 spoke option.
on the lx600 is air suspension all 4 wheels or rear only? i vaguely remember the prior gen was only front or back.
The new LX600 is air at the front and at the rear but on the higher up trims. Also uses a hydraulic system for the shock absorbers which requires an oil change.
