I wonder why that is, TFL's videos normally look really good...
Brorowcarwiz is a Toyota corporate employee, likely had ample time to shoot, edit and upload.
TFL guys are currently on the road at the media event, likely just getting something and throwing it up as soon as possible to get out before others (while still keeping to whatever embargoed info etc)
Gotta say, I’m not feeling it. Compared to the new Range Rover, this already feels 10 years old.
It really isn’t all that great or impressive . If they built it off the Tundra size wheelbase they’d have the proper size. Could have made it in America as well and very likely Lexus could have kept the body on frame structure but they would have been able to go with a independent rear. Cadillac Escalade is just more competitive. I don’t even think this is in the RR class. It really is made for world markets outside of the US.

Agreed, this is way too evolutionary, keeps LX in a tiny niche, at least in the U.S.. Won't really grow appeal to the vast number of shoppers who have gobble up GLS-Class, X7, Range Rover, and now Escalade, Navigator, and even Grand Wagoneers.

I much prefer this video. TFL's looks like it was shot in 480P and then upscaled to 1080.
tfl video looks fine to me (high quality). it could have been because you watched right after it was uploaded, or maybe they re-uploaded another after.

It's always nice to have something more modern and nicer to sit in while you are stranded on the side of the road or on the way to the dealership to fix stuff.

"Reliability" is not an excuse for all of Lexus' failings. Lexus can build reliable well made cars with modern aesthetic and packaging too. Thats a common trope amongst Lexus fans when people point out how woefully behind everyone else they are in design and technology, "oh but you'll be on the side of the road blah blah". I'm enjoying my "unreliable" but way more interesting German and American cars a ton, so are all the other many many high end customers Lexus has lost. There are options that are way more modern that don't have this Land Rover Reliability issue too. BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, Audi Q7 and Q8, if you want BOF the Escalade and Grand Wagoneer and even the old Navigator feel more modern than this. This literally could be the OUTGOING LX. When EVs come around, ALL cars are going to get a lot more reliable and then what is Lexus going sit on while continuing to phone in design after design?
This vehicle was a big opportunity and they really squandered it IMO, and yes I would buy a Range Rover over this in a heartbeat despite concerns over its reliability. If all I wanted was reliability I would buy a Highlander. $120,000 for an ultra luxury vehicle people's legs won't even fit in? What a joke. This vehicle will not get any buyers out of a competitors vehicle. When you figure this will be with us for at least 10-12 years...how is this going to compare in 2027?!?

The X7 GLS Q7 and Q8 are some really unappealing designs IMO. Germans do cars so much better than they do crossovers, they should really stick to cars IMO. I do like has G wagon. I did like the very first M class like you would see in Jurassic Park 2. I find the X3 and X5 to be appealing. I dunno, something about the rounded shapes of the MB crossover just doesn’t do it for me. And the Audis are too low to ground and the reliance on the all touch screen stuff is really odd putting
Escalade is the best of the full size SUVs. This LX is a really crappy effort…even for fans of Toyota/Lexus body on frame models. I almost wish they would have just kept the outgoing V8 model….at least Land Cruiser was very special
