Yeah the EQS is big in person, its almost as big as an S Class.
How did it look in traffic?
It looked odd. Very bulbous, with what appeared to be disproportionately large wheels. I just can't get on board with the styling. It really stuck out, but not in a good way.
Nebulous claims of safety and a general desire to make their cars only be serviced by a dealer.
I get why Mercedes is doing this, don't think it should be legal to make it so you need tools to open the hood. In retrospect my photoshop is really stupid.
EQE is not as stylish as the waistline curvatures of Tesla Model S, nor as beautiful as the original Benz EV prototype which is too impractical for production, but it looks good enough for me to sign on the dotted line. 👍
I dont understand the hood thing either, or the fact that they couldn't make a frunk. They say its because of the hepa filter and they dont want you to mess with it? But the Hepa filter isn't even standard so what is there for cars without that option?
Here's a review that features an EQE after 8,000 miles of journalist driving. I know Merc has gotten a bad rep for interior quality in recent years but wow, this is old Tesla levels of terrible.

how long did it take you to find that 3 month old video with 1700 views?
Throttle House has pointed this out quite a bit on their reviews. Seems like Mercedes currently struggles the most with interior materials out of the german Big 3.
that's 4 years ago. things get fixed.
even lexus vehicles have squeaks and creaks.
actually, lots of examples from last year too.. EQS apparently has terrible squeaks after 1yr (cars will not squeak when new).
Cheaper cars like E class and A/B/C are crazy squeaky after few years.
It is not the same as Lexus or even Toyota or Hyndai.
