Not for the mainstream US market. Trucks are built in Indiana & Texas.

The Tacoma Access cab has been built in Mexico for a while. Very soon all Tacoma’s will be assembled there. A shame

That's not correct. My Tacoma was built in Mexico.

Why do you think Consumer Reports took the Tacoma off their recommended list? They are built like trash in Mexico.

I will replace my 2001 V8 Tundra with a new V6 Tundra if that is the biggest engine available. However, I will not buy a Tundra made in Mexico regardless of engine options available (including a flux capacitor)! Or, as I stated earlier, I'm 65-years-old, so I may die waiting for the new Tundra! I'm upping my wellness routine in retirement, in the mean time, hoping I'll bear witness to the new offering.

Sorry, I started it. I was just trying to explain why the associated Sequoia is shifting from Indiana to Texas and why Toyota in order to keep up with Tacoma demand, started building the Tacoma in a new Mexico plant in December 2019.

Truck production in Mexico has been happening in Baja MX since 2004 when the 2nd generation Tacoma was introduced and Tesla's NUMMI under GM-Toyota ownership built the Tacoma (until 2010). Mexico Tacoma production has been a thing since 2004 and will be 100% Mexico for MY 2022.

I'll move back to discussing Tundra and end off topic talk.

---- (Below not in reply to DaveGS4)----

So, as for the Tundra. It has yet to be seen when it will be revealed.. Since there are no auto shows, Toyota will likely wait and do a reveal similar to the Sienna and Venza, later this year. I was confident that dealer teaser had nothing to do with the Super Bowl, as Toyota has never operated like that.

Toyota don't reveal products in commercials, at ALL. Someone mentioned the '07 Tundra being revealed in a Superbowl ad, but clearly forgot that it was revealed in February 2006 at the Chicago International Auto Show first and then went on sale in January 2007.

The 2007 Superbowl did feature the Tundra, but it wasn't a reveal. It was to let truck buyers know, it's out there and to head into their nearest Toyota dealer.

They really seem to very confident about it obliterating Ford, Ram, and GM, but I won't stoop to partisanship. As both an F-150 and Tacoma owner, I look forward to the future of BOF Toyota lineup.

Toyota dealers love the brand and hence are always very enthusiastic. How much did they increase the production of Tundra for 2022? It should certainly be up with all the reshuffles in past years, I just dont remember how much.

But their enthusiasm can be very misleading and give false expectations, of a product that can dethrone their competition. A lot of people are already seeing through it, luckily I try to remain neutral.
