Select fuel grade with pump nozzle?

This is one of the reasons why I would never own a diesel car, especially if its a luxury car. I have a diesel MB Sprinter, and used to have a diesel Ford, and it is impossible to fuel it up without having you hands smell like diesel, and without getting diesel fuel on your shoes. Unlike gasoline, diesel doesn't evaporate, and there is always oily mess around the pump and the pump handle.

I know a couple of well heeled women who have diesels, Range Rovers etc and they don't seem to have an issue...

At the Chevron I frequent, they have the disposable gloves outside for free at the pump. Also, i carry hand sanitizer in my car to use whenever i touch the fuel pump handle. Furthermore, i only use one hand when pumping gas and usually use the pump nozzle to select the gasoline grade.
