Car died while driving.. bad fuel pump or?
Whilst driving home Saturday evening my 350 started to kind of sputter then just died out. It was low on gas/gas light on so I coasted the car I'm the gas station amd topped off with some premium fuel... still the car wouldn't start only crank. So I had to get the car towed home. Just had the car looked at today from a friend and no codes because I reset disconnected the Battery yesterday and had it tested... so all codes have been erased. My friend checked fuses and all were ok, he seems to think it's the fuel pump bUT I have also read that there is a fuel pump sensor which is on engine bay by thrpttle body and that sometimes this goes bad/giving signs of bad fuel pump bit it's actually this.juat wanted to know others experiences with bad fuel pump/fuel pump sensor or maybe even just a clogged or dirty fuel filter. Also anybody know a place/places to recommend for a new pump At a great price?
thanks in advance. Couple pics of my car when she was all.cleaned up!!

At the fuel rail there might be a schrader valve, have someone crank the engine while you press down on the valve with a screw driver or even a pen. If fuel sprays out then know your fuel pump is working. You can always rent a fuel pressure gauge and attach it to that valve to test the psi coming out of it.
No shrader valves at fuel rail due to high pressure side. You probably have air in the fuel system from running dry. Try carefully having some one spray starter fluid in the intake while you crank the engine. May take a couple of times to purge the air out. Hope this helps
