Default Clean Navigation Screen?

Hi all,
Does anyone have a suggestion what I should use to clean my navigation screen? Owners manual only references a "soft cloth" and no detergent. How can I get my dogs snout marks off? Thanks for any suggestions.

A bit of cell phone spray probably won’t hurt.

I'd use a small hand-held duster for the dust on and around the screen, and a damp, but not very wet cloth (a damp dish cloth will do) for the smudges. That should do the trick without damaging the screen.

I use Sprayway too. One of the tint shops that I use uses it to clean the glass before applying the film. I saw them using it so gave it a try. Good stuff.

You didn't mention what vehicle you have, however I'd be extremely careful using any chemical or even just wet wipe to clean your screen. I used to frequent the Lexus NX forum and there were issues with the screen. It was also mentioned to be careful at car washes , to not let them wash your screen.

Here's a link to one of the threads for your info.

Also, I'd suggest getting your dog some glasses so he/she can read the navigation screen from a reasonable distance. Solve the source of the problem and you won't have to keep cleaning the screen.
