Coming from someone who doesn't think highly of any vehicle in the current Lincoln lineup except for the Navigator, this is rather excellent inside and out!
Extremely impressive offering. There is no reason to buy any other Lincoln. This has them all beat by a mile.
Only pick I can find are the sideview mirrors. They look straight off a Mini Cooper or Disney car and do not match the sleek body styling.
Lame. Argument does not work. People like what they like. RWD will not make the Continental sell better. Has nothing to do with “proper” or FWD or RWD. Cadillac has vastly superior RWD sedans than Lexus and other manufacturers especially with their CTS models, they are rejected constantly by the so called people who buy RWD. CT6 is another rejection. CTS-V is a stunning work of art. The isssue with Lincoln, like all other large American sedans is that people just don’t want American sedans in high enough volumes, and further, Lincoln sedans are a slow decaying brand when people think sedan and Lincoln. Sadly, evidence will suggest that Lexus will follow the same path with their RWD sedans and eventually some of them will need to be canceled on the near future. Hyundai is already having a difficult time with shrinking volumes for their RWD sedans under their Genesis brand.

same old incorrect canard that you keep repeating... Genesis deliberately shrunk availability of '18s to get the new dealership network in place for '19s.
Take a look at the Continental- horrible execution.
Proper sedan will be RWD based and have high end interior a la Navigator!

Sorry, RNM, but Jill is correct. The RWD vs. FWD is a lame arguement, particularly in areas where the FWD is preferable for winter traction without the need for the AWD option. RWD may indeed be more stable at triple-digit Autobahn speeds, but most Americans, most of the time, don't drive at those kind of speeds (and even some sections of the Autobahn itself, for safety reasons, are getting posted limits and speed cameras). FWD also has a umber of packaging benefits...though with RWD, yes, it is usually easier to do repairs on the front suspension and brakes....you don't have to take the whole front end apart in the service bay.
