Same here with the grill, rear end and tail lights.

 

Everything works except the upper and lower front grill area. Looks "forced."

 

Hmmm.. I wish the grille came down a bit lower like in the (supposedly) photoshopped pic towards the middle of this thread. I hate the wheels but there will be options there. Back doesn't bother me much - I definitely see some Volvo S90 in the whole exterior design which is fine by me. I think I"m still in "wait & see" mode for when this becomes official.

 

I hope those are wrong! That rear end looks like a Lincoln MKZ, not a car Hyundai should be targeting with the G90.

 

And yet, better-executed, in my humble opinion, than the MKZ's version...

Yes. I like it....all except for the lower portion of the front grille. While not a shoe-box design per se, it is one of the few sedans today that doesn't try to imitate a coupe, which IMO is a good thing.

 

Are they trying to make the most generic and at the same time ugly car they can?

 

Thats quite a disappointment....

 

The G90 went from having an Audi-like nose and a Mercedes-Benz-like tail to having an Acura-like nose and a Lincoln-like tail. Depending upon your perspective, this may not be an improvement.

 

They did a better job, though, than the MKZ, on the Lincoln-like tail. The MKZ, in comparison, looks bulky and awkward in the rear, wth overly-wideand slanted C-pillars.

 

Who else think the current Volvo sedans are pretty bland looking? I saw a white S90 couple of days ago and to me it looked like a wide bar soap,I did not like the rear at all. The side profile of the new G90 looks like Lincoln Continental. Although The new Kia K900 is pretty sweet looking comparatively.

 

I think the pic of the black one is legit and what we will see soon. It's the first pic where the headlights are exactly like what Genesis teased and the grille shape is the most accurate to some spy shots. I like it.
