Default Where is the 2019 RAV4??

It's been around six months since the RAV4 debuted, and yet we haven't heard a single thing about it since then. Toyota's website says it will be released in Winter 2018, but don't you all think this is too late for such an important vehicle??

I hope it went back to drawing board
As much as coherent and contemporary new Corolla is new RAV4 is everything opposite.

I think it will be worth the wait when it finally is released. It seems much-better styled, inside and out, than the current one, whose general looks I never cared for. Nor did I care for (most of) the El Cheapo light-plastic interior parts and thin sheet metal on the current model, though the seat-latch for the rear seat, unlike the rest of the interior, was solid enough to be on a tank.

Really good video, shows off a lot details you don't normally get in these you tubes.

I noticed no touchpad!!!! I hope Lexus follows suit with the new NX next year.

From what I heard on Redline Review on Youtube, the press is not getting on their hands on the car until November not sure why such a late release. On Motor Trend's current issue it does mention 203 HP for the 2.5 4 cylinder, that is the only newest news I have heard about it since it's reveal in the NYIAS last spring.

Obviously some of these people don’t understand how different the RAV4 and 4Runner are. I expect Toyota will continue to invest in the 4 runner given how successful the current gen has been.

I hope they will invest. Seriously hope they dont cheap out and use the gutless and mediocre powertrain from the current Tacoma. Nothing has been announced yet, so there is hope.

continue to? How about START?

and yeah, i don't see any reason toyota would end the ancient 4Runner since it prints money for them.

Yes, but what I was thinking was just having gotten rid of an NX with the awful touchpad and seeing new Lexus models continue to have the awful touchpad, I was afraid Toyota maybe adopting it.

Don't bother to blast me with how good the new touchpad update is. I will never buy a car with a touchpad again!

This new Rav4 is on my shortlist.
