My BSM on dash board was always lit when turned on and still is. However I am now getting a message on the dash in the message window that maintenance is required
Can this be reset? The BSM works

 

I think the BSM is supposed to stay lit to indicate it is operational.

Your maintenance reminder light may have nothing to do with your BSM.

 

I really do have a warning message that in my message block that says BSM maintenance required. Checked all sensors for mud or ice all clear . I would like to reset the message center. So I think I will do it the way one would reset the oil maintenance message and see if it clears up
