Ok last time I did my oil change i reseted the warning light myself. I used the search bottom and found that once you reset it yourself it wont turn back on by the period of time, but it will come back on depending on how many miles you drive. I am already driven like 500 miles over the recommended 5k miles between oil changes and my light is not on yet, before it use to come on 500 miles before the service was required. Can anyone help me clarify what is going on here thanks in advance...I am at about 54k miles in my '06 IS350...

 

Im having the opposite problem. I just changed my oil and filter, reset the mileage on my navigation, but now I get a warning light for OIL SERVICE on my dash (by speedometer).

How do I reset that?

 

The dash warning is completely unrelated to the reminder system that's part of the nav system.
