Default reset maintenance required warning light

does anyone know how to reset the maintenance light. im about to change my oil and i need to do this. thanks a million.

searching for "reset maintenance" i found the following thread:

Read page 96, 462 of the owner manual. On page 95 "mileage reset" will show you how to reset after you perform the maintenance.

1. Push the "ODO/TRIP" button to chnage the display to blank.
2. Turn the ignition switch off.
3. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" the the trip meter "RESET" button held down.
4. Keep pushing the "RESET" button for longer than 5 seconds after the ignition is turned on.

After the above operation, the master warning light comes on, a warning tone sounds and the above message appears to inform you that the engine oil maintenance data has been reset.

thanks guys. when i tried a 'search' earlier, it came back saying 'no matches'. did i do something wrong or was i in the wrong place. i think i was in faq.

I usually use advanced search, choose the forum you want to search in, then type your search string.
