If you want something that's fun to drive, the Fiesta ST is a riot and 19-20k out the door.

.
I'd argue that the vw gti is the king of the hatchbacks. Many automakers use the vw as a benchmark.

Actually, it's difficult to argue with the Soul's sales figures.

Fewer enthusiasts, fewer sales. The GTI is totally the king. The Soul is largely something one takes to soccer practice.

Here's a video of the 2019 Avalon spy-shots, though the boring, cut-and-dried computer-voice leaves a lot to be desired:

This Avalon in disguise actually looks okay compared to the forthcoming Toyota Crown/Lexus 5GS, and the all new 2017-22 Series Accords.
If you thought the 5LS was bad, wait till yo use the new Accord.

Honda is slipping.
Sony really slipping and struggling to fight back with mirrorless cameras.
Panasonic and Sharp are gone...
The 1992 Camry was considered the Gold Standard back then, I believe it was Automobile Mag that called it that or JD Powers. I forgot.

Even though the article says New Camry. I have a feeling this could actually be how the new Avalon ends up looking like. What do you all think ?

Cool render. Definitely has the latest Toyota / Lexus design cues. The rear reminds me of the LC. Wish the wheel base could be a bit larger on this render.

Possible... but the spy shots suggest a window in the C-pillar, like the current-generation Avalon.

That's a Kia Cadenza on the right hand side they're testing against.

I was not implying that the car next to it is the current-generation Avalon.

that's not what I meant if it sounded that way. I meant the Camo Toyota in the image is being tested against a Cadenza. Sorry for the confusion.

I think you might be right. if the Avalon looks that good. Then I really want to see what the next ES would look like. That grill might need to be toned down a little.

Too much coupe in the styling. I'm a firm believer in sedans looking like sedans....though the hump-back rooflines, head-banging rear entry/exit, and bite-size trunk lids seem to be the rage nowadays.
