PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do research before posting these threads..

1. Turn Radio Off via mode - This was true of many systems with up to Gen6 navigation. Now holding down the Mode button Mutes live radio or Pauses your own content

2. Opening windows and moonroof via the key fob - Mention that it is a dealer personalized setting that must be enabled via TechStream.

4. That's not a Lexus picture

6. Key Fob Seat Position - All you mention is that you can set the seats. But not how to set to the key..

10. Side View Tilt down feature - Set to Left or Right. Middle disables the function on new Lexus's.

How many times do we have to point out the errors in these before they stop posting them? Lol.

Thanks, Hoovey! I thought there were some funny ones there that did not work on my car (2015 ES 300h).

I thought it looked funny. Will it this variable cabin smog filter sensitivity feature work on my car?

I will have to try this tomorrow. But having put convex spot mirrors on my side mirrors, I do not need this feature; and doing very little parallel parking I have not felt the need to have this feature.

5. Night Safety

We never know what the mysterious night will bring, and it is always best to add some light and eliminate the darkness when you're alone. If you've parked your Lexus in a dark parking lot, press the lock button on your key fob twice, and the headlights should turn on, lighting up your path, and keeping the troubles away.

Does this work on anyone else? I have 2016 RX and pushing the lock button twice does not do anything (then lock the car).

Definitely not. Not sure if it did in previous generations though. As a matter of fact, I've never seen this on any Lexus or Toyota...

I have not tried pressing the lock button twice while the car is already locked but I know that if I lock twice with the car unlocked and the automatic lights on, they turn the lights off.

The mode button does turn the radio on and off on my 10IS. I also have an 07RX and according to the owner's manual, the mode button will not only turn the radio on and off, it will also select the input, meaning AM, FM, CD, satellite.

For the headlight turning on thing, my IS does not do that. I tried it with the headlight switch in auto position and manual off position. I did not try my RX.

Update - -

I finally remembered to try these 2 things on my 07RX. The mode button does turn the radio on and off. When the radio is on, pressing the mode button will change the input from AM to FM to CD, etc. To turn the radio off, you have to press and hold the mode button for a second or two.

The headlights will not turn on or off with the remote.
