Hey
everyone I am new to the lexus scene. I have always dreamed of owning a sc300 for years and now I just bought one. Its a 1993 Burgundy Red with 140000 miles on it. Had one owner some old man who golfed alot lol. Original paint is near perfect. No dings no rust garaged its whole life. Only mod I did just recently was cut the old cat back piping and added 2.5 inch to duel 3inch spec d exhausts. Which sound really nice deep and throaty nothing like a rice mobile.

Reason: forgot pics
Congratulations! Still a looker and one of my favorite cars of all time. Great color. You may want to look into some new rims that will really fill the wheel wells. Also, looks like the headlights may be a bit cloudy. A little plastic scratch remover would fix that! That would be the icing on the cake!

Thanks I am looking at some 18 inch Chrome Lexus rims ATM. Between that and gold. I plan on doing supra TT brakes all around and swap out the rear suspension with mkiv parts.
. Along with supra headers and midpipe down to my current exhaust.
Be sure to keep the guy's contact info so you can score on his next car move
Hey thanks, I am the only Sc300 in my town that I know of ATM. Its my dream car and current project. More add one to come soon. My BMW was totaled few days ago and I'm looking at a nice settlement. As well as a 07 760 like v12 bmw

Check out the SC300/400 forum and take a look at some of the while choices. I don't like to stray too far from OEM, but there are some really nice pics in that forum! Great buy!
Thanks hoovy. I looked all over Craig list and every sc300 around here is beat up and way over priced guys asking 6k to 8k. For beat up ones. And I found this car sitting like a orphan child for sale at a old mans house and took it for 4k even. I should of posted picks of the interior super clean. No tranny issues. I have opened the throttle up hard on the highway. Its pulls really strong. But the engine was re serviced and timing done two years ago there is a sticker on it. Weird thing it the rpm will redline higher than the gauge can read and the car pulls nice. My guess is its redlining around 9k before it stops pulling. But since then I'm just babying her till I can start upgrading and getting ready for turbo
Sweet ride. I bought a 1992 SC300 4 years ago with 60k original miles. Mine's a 5 speed manual as well, one old man owned it, always garaged, just beautiful condition like yours, not a door ding on that car. She now has 88k on the odometer, still looking clean as hell.
As for the mods, I did upgrade to some 18" wheels and replaced all those stupid gold badges with chrome ones.
I really need to get some new pics, as I just tinted the windows.
