Jus wanted to say hi and see how the 2jz community is here.
Bought this car two weeks ago and jus registered yesterday.

So it's a 1995 sc300 5spd with 59,xxx original miles on it.
Paid 8g's for it........compared to the mainland I know I paid a crap load but to understand the rarity living in Hawaii. U end up paying 2-3grand over any car bought in mainland.
Still happy with it though. Almost in perfect condition everything works on it.

Bought this car as a daily so I wouldn't have to rack up miles on my g35. But now after seeing the potential and less money I would have to put in to boosting it....who knows wat I'll end up doing

My girlfriend also owns a 95 sc300 5spd that she picked up about 2 years ago that had 90,000 at the time. It's a jade or emerald green almost black

Thanks guys

I bought it stock with the exception of is300 rims, injen intake and to no name brand exhaust cans that he had welded on.

I noticed on the steering wheel it has this telephone button option on the left of the steering wheel and in my center console under the arm rest there's a mount where a phone would sit with a telephone jack.
Trips me out cuz that's the first time i seen this in a car

Thanks guys for the compliments guys......at the time I didn't have enough money for a daily so wen the green sc popped up on craigslist I hounded her to buy it since she likes to ride....I mean drive stick . Also in hopes that one day I would take it from her hehe.

But yeah there is barely any 5spds in Hawaii jus lucky. After hers was bought two years ago until now there was only one green one posted for sale but it was a 5spd swap and then the red one I bought that popped up two weeks ago.

Guess u can say it was right timing and I was lucky cuz red is my favorite color!!!!

Enjoy your stay. There is definitely a whole lot more you can do to your SC than the G35, and as you mentioned, probably for less money (unless you go 2JZGTE with all the baller parts and a single, standalone, etc. than it gets expensive).
