this is likely 95% next gen LS... some lights will be adjusted, actual interior controls will be implemented and we will get real mirrors... but thats it..

just look at LF-CC and how it mirrored IS... it is the same here.

The poll on this thread asks the question of whether the new LS should go after the traditional S class or the sporty Jaguar XJ. So which of those two does the LF-FC concept most closely threaten? Is this concept classy or sporty? It seems that Lexus did a great job of making a balanced design here.

When I saw the new Prius, I knew the long vertical element of those tail lights were going to appear in some shape/form on a Lexus before long. I'm glad the Lexus lights will have a horizontal element as well to differentiate. It's dramatic, that's for sure.

This LF-FC is most likely the next generation LS and one of the variants in the LS line will be a fuel cell. So I would imagine:

LS 460/460L or 500/500L
LS 600h L
LS 500FC

And F Sport options for all variants.

Curious if Lexus will make a turbo version of the LS.

production ones will be significantly different, like in IS and GS concepts, which were also close to production with exception of similar things as this new LS.

LF-FC is nearly four inches longer, four inches wider and two inches lower than the current LS 460L sedan. The growth also makes the concept longer than the current segment leader: Mercedes-Benz’s venerable S class.
That's what she said.

500 and 500h I think so far... 500h is rumored to have around 440hp V6 Hybrid, which means it is likely a turbo powertrain.

FC version is rumored to release by 2020... pretty sure it might be limited to Japan and possibly California, which will have several hundred hydrogen stations by then.

I am excited to see the new LF FC concept car. Saw it on Instagram this morning and thought wow. Hope it comes to production as the new LS with minimal changes. The design is clean, the interior isn't gaudy and over the top like the new S-Class. Haven't been a fan of the Lexus spindle grill designs lately, but the sleek side profile and the elegant interior reminds me of how beautiful Lexus' can be. In the production model LS, I hope they keep the interior clean with minimal buttons like Tesla, have self driving features, and a more elegant screen than the two Samsumg Galaxy Tab solution Mercedes used for their flagship. Lexus, please don't screw this one up!

The LS was always too staid and fuddy duddy for me.

But if the next LS is anything like this LF-FC concept, I could maybe see myself in a 2017 LS.
