I can't believe either the 4.6L or 5.0L V8 or both is gonna be in that chassis

Why not? Same displacement but otherwise new engines, with the completely new, state-of-the-art valvetrain that provides on-demand Atkinson Cycle (for high-efficiency and low fuel consumption at low loads) and Otto Cycle (for high power at high loads).

No other automaker in the world -- not MB, not BMW, not VW -- has such a high-tech engine yet.

The only thing I dislike is the rear seat design, it reminds me of the michelin man... I think some diamond stitching on the seat will make it look gorgeous
Other than that, the rest of the car is very modern and sleek
Absolutely love the direction of the new LS is going, I can see myself getting one in the future.

People are being silly... Lexus should change engine designation every 2 years so everyone thinks they do all-new-from-grounds-up engine, apparently thats what high tech and not actual tech :-)

Its "progressive" luxury, Lexus is looking forward on this one. Diamond stitching is luxury of today but may not be tomorrow. Look forward.

Hmm, your right. After giving it a second thought the seat resemble Baymax to me now~~
A Japanese company should be high tech after all, self inflating/deflating seats to satisfy owner's rear end could be the thing of the future

Joking aside, I still wish it has diamond stitching like the flying B

This car is blowing up my IG feed, and the more I look at it at the different angles, I just can't believe that radical new chassis is a lexus. It totally changes the face of luxury and vip and aftermarket kits. As for the engine, I love it. Familiar 4.6L and 5.0L outfitted with state of the art tech

i think it'd be awesome if they went against the current trend of tall, upright, rounded off cars and went back to a more sleek, low, flat design like the cars originally had. i don't know why cars had to become so big, the original LS dimensions give more than enough room for people
