Man now that this is coming out, I can swoop up a 2012 Spec R 5.0 for low 30's.

If there's one thing I hate about the new Lexus are the atrocious wheel gaps and small looking tyres in general.

dunno about the newer Genesis but the prior years (especially the turbo ones) look really nice when fixed up!

This car have really low ride height, go stand next to a new F10 M5, especially the competition package car, and see how tall you feel

Default Next Hyundai Genesis to get HTRAC all-wheel drive

Next Hyundai Genesis to get HTRAC all-wheel drive

Hyundai Motor To Introduce 'HTRAC' AWD System
With All-New Genesis

- Hyundai Motor unveils the name of its all-wheel drive sub-brand 'HTRAC'
- The next-generation Genesis to be the first Hyundai model to adopt the
system, with more to follow

Oct. 17, 2013 – Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea's largest automaker, today announced that its 'HTRAC' all-wheel drive system will be made available for the first time on the all-new Genesis, the second generation of Hyundai's first premium rear-wheel drive sedan set to make its world debut in its home market later this year.

The 'H' stands for 'Hyundai' indicating its brand heritage, and 'TRAC' is a shortened form of the word 'Traction,' which represents technical attributes of the all-wheel drive system. The advanced HTRAC system electronically controls torque split between the front and rear axles depending on road and driving conditions, offering greater stability on slippery roads and in corners.

"Hyundai Motor's HTRAC system has secured best-in-class durability and driving performance through strict tests carried out in various locations worldwide, including the famed Nürburgring in Germany, the Yeongam F1 circuit in Korea and in severe winter tests in Europe," said Woong-Chul Yang, Vice Chairman and head of Hyundai Motor Group's R&D Center. "We expect our customers to feel world-class safety and driving performance in the all-new Genesis equipped with the HTRAC system."

Unlike mechanical AWD system with limited torque split between front and rear wheels, Hyundai's HTRAC system allows drivers to select driving modes for a sophisticated and tailored driving experience.

Starting with the second-generation Genesis, Hyundai plans to apply the HTRAC system to more of its models and aims to strengthen its premium, high-tech brand image by continuing brand efforts such as featuring the HTRAC badge on the trunk lid of the Genesis.

A stock GS350 would do with it's offroad ready stance, that thing got awesome ground clearance, ready for rock climbing!

We have a Spy Shot thread for the 2015 Genesis but gearing up for it's release, this is a good place to start

2015 Hyundai Genesis revealed in renderings

We're currently in Seoul, South Korea, checking in on the 2015 Hyundai Genesis at the automaker's headquarters. We can't yet offer any driving impressions, but at least we can share a few renderings of what the new sedan will look like.

As you can see, practically everything above the beltline has been carried over almost untouched from the HCD-14 Genesis Concept we saw earlier this year. The front-end styling, on the other hand, is a complete departure from current Hyundai design language. Note the large, upright grille and the more dynamic headlights and fascia.

There's still no word as to when Hyundai will officially debut the 2015 Genesis, but it won't be a long wait.

Reminds me of the child a Mazda6, 6-Series Gran Coupe, A7 and Ford Fusion would have. With that out of the way, I think it looks great. 5.0L V8 R-Spec model anyone..

The acid test will be the suspension and chassis. Will it handle, steer and feedback like a true sports sedan? Hyundai has the value proposition and the reliability/quality aspect down. Now let's hope it has the dynamics too.

This is what the Infiniti M/Q70 should have looked like. Shame.
