I don't like it as much as the Jeep however, so we have to decide if our enjoyment of the Jeep is worth some repair risks...

Have you considered getting a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee since you like the current one? I think there is a new 8-Speed auto and some trim improvements

I would give them another shot with a 2014, not sure the wife would go for it...

If you like Chrysler products the Durango is very well done, I prefer it to the JX and it gets updated for 2014 and seats 7.

I don't care for the whole Dodge persona, I'm willing to put aside some of the reliability issues because I like the package of the Jeep so much, wouldn't be able to do that for the Durango...
