Nissan Altima , Chevrolet Malibu < new Honda Accord. Honestly this is a great remodel, sad the Honda Civic didn't get the same outcome. I've seen the new Altima quite a number of times already it doesn't feel 2013 the design to me for some reason.

Just like Honda. Front doors only and on the higher level cars only.

yeah but prius has lots of other funky options available/not-available - can't get 17s on anything other than V package, headlights don't auto on/off except on IV/V packages, etc.

Accord has standard dusk sensor? Prius 15" wheels are there for a reason - lighter car and better fuel consumption.

Something is really fishy..supposedly the new ED 2.4L is called the K24W. K series was supposed to be retired i thought, but it seems to have just be slightly re engineered for the. I think the V6 is also a derivative of the J series as well with DI now....so much for "all new". =/

The V6 in this Accord don't have DI yet with only 278 hp..............the DI V6 will make a little over 300 hp according to earlier report.

They have to draw the line somewhere to differentiate the lower models to the premium models, it is already bad enough now a days that lots of economy cars come with luxury features. If they put everything in the Accord, no one will buy the TL anymore.

According to the report on the up and coming Honda's Hybrid SH-AWD system, the direct-injected variant of the 3.5-liter V6 will make 310 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque.

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/12/07/w...sh-awd-system/

The 278 hp V6 in this new Accord is just a slightly improved version of the old 271 hp V6 without DI.

This isn't the first time where Honda uses the same letter for an engine platform while having a completely different design. Who knows, this K-series might be vastly different than the current one. I would like to see more power out of the engine though

Accrding to Wiki (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda...ne#section_1):

Note: The Honda K24W2 is based off of the K24Y and K24Z engines.
