Default BMW M7 is coming, hell yes!!

Ludwig Willisch, BMW North America CEO, is pressing corporate BMW headquarters in Munich to add a BMW M7 model to the current line up of M Power cars.

Until now, the Bavarian maker decided not do an M version of its flagship model but this sentiment appears to be changing, especially with Willisch’s counterpart in China also lending his support.

Willisch, who previously served as president of the M division, said to The Detroit News;

Nice, I always think the M-Sport package are not enough.

I am not holding my breath, it took BMW this long to think about offering a M7, and Audi don't have a RS8 yet, the S8 is not quite up to the AMG and M level. Surprisingly Jaguar do offer a XJ Supersport.

If Lexus would make a LS-F at all, it will be at least 10 years from now.

Oh yeah, M-Sport 750/760 is a little weak and the Alpina B7 is too tuner/boy racer. The world needs a M7 to compete with the fabulous S63!

While a M7 would be awesome I must be missing something b/c it is not confirmed no more than a LS F is confirmed. Is there a link or something confirming the M7?

Yes it is nothing but rumors, speculations and prospects. It was all based on what the CEO of BMW North America said.

So yes nothing is confirmed, just a maybe.

Much bigger maybe then a LS-F though.

The rumor does say it could be just a "M Performance" line, so a half *** M, not a full blown M.

Better then nothing.

But then we got the AMG S-Class, so is ok to not have a full blown M7.

which is why up till now the S63 AMG would have been my choice, but an M7 could sway that
